About Zuehl, Texas

Located on Cibolo Creek with a population of just 325, Zuehl, Texas is home to Rio Cibolo Ranch. Wilhem Zuehl bought the land in 1870 and two years later opened a store, from which the community took its name. This quiet community boasts two nine-pin bowling societies dating back to the late 1800’s, a skeet shooting range, a private airfield (formerly the Randolph AFB training field), a renowned pottery maker, historic watering tavern, school house and county community church.
