Why should I choose Rio Cibolo Ranch as the venue to conduct my wedding ceremony? Rio Cibolo Ranch is a magical place where country charm and lush gardens join to create your perfect wedding wonderland. With our unique setting and delicious catering it will be an unforgettable evening for you and your guest. Rio Cibolo Ranch also offers a Certified Wedding Specialist to help you on your special day.
How long do you reserve a reception site before we have to give a deposit? We can keep a courtesy hold on a facility without a deposit until someone else shows interest in the same date and facility. If this does happen with your courtesy hold we then allow you 48 hours to get back with us before we release your date.
What is your payment structure? • 1st Non-Refundable Event Deposit: $500.00 (Once you receive a proposal the remaining of the 10% will be billed to you) or 10% of Proposal
• 2nd 120 Days Out: An additional 25% of existing proposal will be billed to you.
• 3rd Final Payment: 14 days prior to your wedding the balance will be due in full.
Do you provide the catering or can we bring someone in? Rio Cibolo Ranch provides all catering and we do not allow outside caterers.
Do you provide a menu tasting? We do hold an open house tasting throughout the year for our potential and booked brides. If you would like to be on the list to attend one please email Katherine Lopez at katherine@riociboloranch.com.
Who provides the liquor? Rio Cibolo Ranch has a mixed beverage permit and will provide all alcohol and bartenders. You may not bring alcohol onto the premises as it is illegal to do so.
What is provided for an outdoor Wedding Ceremony? For your outdoor wedding ceremony site, we provide white, samsonite chairs, a green runner, house music (recorded music) and house decorations (grapevine, silk ivy & tulle).
What if it rains and I can not conduct my ceremony outside? Plan B for rain is to pull your ceremony site inside to your facility.
Can we toss confetti or flower petals at my ceremony? (inside or out) Anything used to toss must be biodegradable and environment friendly.
What tables, chairs, linen, etc. are provided? • For the RCR Corral the house tables & chairs are picnic tables. We still cover those with our house linens (comes in different colors) and decor.
• For the Lazy Lily the house tables are 6ft table with white samsonsite chairs. The same house linen and décor applies.
• For the Zuehl’s Hall the house tables are 6ft tables with ivory samsonsite chairs. The same house linen and decor applies.
Regarding decorations, can they be set the night before or is time allowed in booking for decorating prior to the ceremony and/or reception? Rio Cibolo Ranch is a turn-key facility which can handle everything for you. We always allow two hours before the ceremony to set up and decorate your reception. If we have nothing involved in the facility prior to your event we will allow you to decorate the night before.
Who will set up tables for the cake, gifts, guest book & registry tables? Rio Cibolo Ranch is in charge of all set up and tear down of your facility.
Are we allowed to bring candles? Yes, as long as they are inside a votive or container to control any fires or wax overflow.
Do you have a microphone or can we rent audio equipment? We do have a house PA system, which includes speaker, hand held microphone and lapel microphone, for no additional cost. We are always able to rent any sort of audio visual equipment that you desire.
Where do my guests park? Each of our facilities has a designated parking lot for your event. Event parking is free.
Do you provide other services to coordinate an event such as flowers, transportation, decorating, etc? Rio Cibolo Ranch can book and provide everything for you except floral and photography, we will recommend vendors for that.
Can you provide an officiate for us? Rio Cibolo Ranch can either book a Justice of the Peace or Non-Denominational Pastor for your ceremony.
Is there a room for the Wedding Party to dress in? If so, is it an additional cost? Rio Cibolo Ranch provides a dressing room for both parties and there is no additional cost. The Wedding Party can arrive 2 hours prior to their event.
Are there overnight accommodations available? We have one Bridal Suite (Zuehl’s Haus), but not accommodations for your guest.
