The Ranch is ideal for any special event. A small group of 200 guests or less can enjoy functions at the Lazy Lily River House, a cooking school class, or wine tasting. Large groups will enjoy the R.C.R. Corral and its 20,000 square foot pavilion and patio nestled among century old pecan trees. The Ranch’s beautiful pecan orchard provides for a cool setting at any day event or lighted evening event. We have provided entertainment and catering services for galas and fundraising events, high school reunions, project graduations, family reunions, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and any other private group function that desires to have the enchanting Ranch facilities and surrounding grounds as the background for pure fun and relaxation. After lunch or dinner, our guests might stroll along the Creekside garden and orchard, view and feed the longhorn cattle, enjoy a Texas rodeo, wagon rides, line dancing and any other western entertainment they may desire.
Although the Ranch caters to private groups, we do host numerous events open to the public, including the New World Wine & Food Festival, and the Texas Wine and Herb Festival, which showcases the beauty of Rio Cibolo Ranch and the Texas Hill country Vineyards with live entertainment and various vendors exhibiting their arts and crafts and numerous horticulture groups such as the Texas Master Gardeners, Texas Master Naturalists, San Antonio Botanical Center, the San Antonio Herb Society, and Go Texan Members just to name a few.
