The Ranch facilities and surrounding areas make the ranch a perfect
venue for team building, team games and activities and retreats. We
strive to meet your goals and go the extra mile to ensure we foster the
team building spirit and camaraderie you expect as guests of the Ranch.

Team building games and activities might include the following events:

Add some cowpoke fun and team building to your event with Cowboy Olympics. All activities are set up with a Western flare and are supervised by our recognizable, friendly staff. Team up for some Texas-style fun and games with this one to two hour series of team-building activities. You select your own teams or Ranch-hand officials will organize the teams in a crazy manner guaranteed to break the ice.

Schedule of events is as follows:
Organization of Teams: Elect Team Captain,
Establish Team Name, Develop Team “Cheer”
(Also available are a banner with Company Name/
Logo and/or T-Shirts with Company Name/Logo

Each player puts on their war paint and wears colorful
western bandanas. The awards and ribbon
ceremony follow the games!

(You pick six out of the games listed below...or let us pick ‘em for you!)

Teams of Rustlers race through the Cowpoke obstacle
course.

Four teams play against each other at the same time,
using four courts all connected, but with only one ball.

Four teammates must step in rhythm as they move
across the lonesome prairie on buckboards made for
four in a relay that involves all team members, four at
a time.

Compete against your fellow cowpokes with homemade
cow chips tossed in a potato sack.

Four, five or six Wranglers ride a 7-foot stick horse
through a marked course with no reins or stirrups.

Three team members man the water balloon
launch and fire the balloons 50 yards at two team
members who must catch it in a potato sack. (You
might want to bring a raincoat for this one.)

Each team member gets their shots from five
positions to make the most baskets. (Spurs scouts
will be on hand!)

Four teams compete in a Tug-O-War like you
have never seen before! Yee-Haw!

Lots of fun and very competitive, teams
must follow the rules and this means they
have to read their recipe, can’t add any
extra ingredients, can’t cheat (Ranch staff is
watching), remember to stir, stir, stir and most
importantly teams have to sample their own
chili! The meanest chili cook in the west along
with his notorious band of gunslingers judges
the chili. This is a great time as teams pair off
to battle using one of our more than a dozen
homemade chili recipes such as: Border Patrol
Chili, Yer A Chicken Chili, Redneck Chili, Old
Crow Chili, Muy Boracho Chili, Rattle Steak
Chili, Buzzards Breath Chili and Coyote Chili!

A variety of games are provided as part of your usage fee when you experience “a little bit of Texas”
team building. Volleyball, basketball, horseshoe pitching, washer toss and our famed tin cup puttin’ course
(not part of the PGA Tour), tug-o-war and two regulation softball fields are all provided. Plus, we provide
game attendants to run the tournaments at no charge.

Compete in a two-on-two tournament of Eight ball,
Foosball, Air Hockey, Bumper Pool, Sawdust Lawn
Shuffleboard and Ping Pong.
